My current obsession is Outlive by Peter Attia.

I’ve listened to this audiobook five times and I had to buy the paper back to read through it as well.  This book has made me rethink my goals, and how I train. I want to be a part of the Centurion Olympics, and be the best version of myself every decade.

I love how Peter uses the concepts of hazard ratios for the key metrics to create his predictive model for longevity.  He organizes the science to support a method to take agency for your health, vitality and future.

I’m currently in my 40s and I know my body will begin to decline. It’s on me to take action now so I can flatten the curve, patiently create gains and consistently put in the work to keep it all.

I never want to be limited by my physical ability to live life. Until the very end I will have the ability to move with purpose, challenge my body and explore the world with my loved ones.  It’s important to set the standard for my kids so they know how to to take care of their bodies and health in the world that is increasingly harder to do so.

Lastly, I want to be a beacon for my community. I am a practitioner and I aim to become a leader in this field.
